This wool is the wool we don’t take to processing-meaning it is filled with manure and other matter that will make magic in the garden. Wool’s natural properties make hanks of this stuff great to place in a planting hole where it will feed your transplant and help reduce its need for water. Magic! Used as a top dressing, the same properties allow the same process to support your beds. More magic! And applied like a mulch aroudn a new shrub or bush…you know what we are going to say, right? Did you know that waste wool-the butt and belly and neck wool considered too matted to process- makes a great garden amendment? Place some in your planting hole and the manure will slowly feed your plant, bush, shrub or tree-simultaneously reducing your need to water by wicking. You can also use waste wool as a mulch! We sell by the paper bag (think paper grocery bag) and include a little of everything -some belly, butt and neck.
